The Committee on Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Committee), under the auspice of the Federation of Hong Kong Industry (FHKI), held the Launching Ceremony of the Industry Cares Recognition Scheme 2025 on 12 June 2025. The Scheme is open for applications from 13 June to 25 July 2025. Upon accreditation, Caring certificates and logos of Industry Cares will be awarded to companies that participated in at least two CSR projects between 1 January 2024 and 30 June 2025. Dr Bernard Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, was invited as the Guest-of-Honour to officiate the ceremony. Dr Steve Chuang, FHKI Chairman, expressed his hope that Industry Care would serve as a bridge between the business and social welfare sectors, fostering innovative projects to create a warmer and more inclusive Hong Kong. Ms Bonnie Chan, FHKI Director General, Mr Terrence Hui, FHKI CSR Committee Chairman and Mr Alan Cheung, FHKI CSR Committee Honorary President also share the joy of ceremony with guests.
At the ceremony, Mr Edmund Chan, Co-Founder, COO, Meat the Next Company Limited, and Ms Joyce Mak, Deputy President of Gingko House and Mr Hui Yun Wai, Business Development Manager of Gingko House , shared their company's Creating Shared Value (CSV) project with all guests. Additionally, the Grand Award awardees of 2024, Lee Kum Kee (Enterprise Group), and FarmacyHK (SME Group), shared their experience and tips on scheme application.
