The seminar titled “FHKI Group 5 (HKEIC) X HKEIA : Collaborative Innovation for the Future of Third-Generation Semiconductors: Seminar on Sustaining the Silicon Carbide Market and Ecosystem Development”, jointly organised by FHKI Group 5 (Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council) and the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA), was successfully held on 18 December 2023. The event attracted the participation of over 60 members from a variety of sectors.

Esteemed speakers from J2 Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. shared their expertise with the audience, including Dr Robert Tsu, Founder and Chairman, and Co-CEOs Mr Roger Szeto and Mr TY Chu. They provided insightful perspectives on their team's capabilities and the innovative development of silicon carbide wafer products.

The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for members to explore the future of the silicon carbide industry and emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts. Together, the industry aims to advance the production of third-generation semiconductors and achieve a future of sustainable development.
