FHKI Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould & Die Council) invited experts from German WBAAWA to hold three consecutive webinars to share the latest development of the mould manufacturing sector with members. The first webinar was successfully concluded on 22 July (Thursday).

More than 30 member companies join the first webinar on " Digital Transformation of Tooling Industry", held by Mr Niklas Kessler from WBAAWA and translated by Mr Grayson Sun from Hong Kong Productivity Council. The speaker introduced the  use of augmented reality technology (AR) for design, testing, etc. to improve efficiency of mould manufacturing, and also recommended to use data differences for predictive maintenance in realising "smart moulds" that reduce manufacturing process failures.
