The Seminar on Cybersecurity Offence & Defence: Case Studies and Emerging Threat Insights, organised by FHKI Group 25 (Hong Kong Information Technology Industry Council) and sponsored by Grandwood Insurance Brokers Limited and Ricoh Hong Kong Limited, was successfully held on 10 September 2026. The event received strong support from Mr Ricky Chan, FHKI Executive Deputy Chairman; Mr Peter Shum, FHKI Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Group 25; Dr Alfred Ng, FHKI Deputy Chairman; and Mr Schubert Chong, Vice-Chairman of Group 25, attracting nearly 100 participants.
We were honoured to have Mr Daniel Cheung, JP, the Acting Commissioner for Digital Policy from the Digital Policy Office, serve as our Guest of Honour and keynote speaker. The event also gathered leading experts across sectors, including Ms Rachel Hui, Superintendent of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force, and Ir Wilson Wong, MH, CEO of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited, to deliver in-depth analysis of the latest cybersecurity threats from policy, technology, law enforcement, and risk management perspectives.
