FHKI Group 26 (Environmental Industries Council) visited Chun Yang International (HK) Co Ltd on 3 September 2026. The visit attracted nearly 40 industry representatives, led by Mr Jude Chow, FHKI Executive Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Group 26 (Environmental Industries Council), who accompanied members to inspect Hong Kong’s first power battery processing facility to gain deep insights into local environmental technology and green transformation trends.
During the visit, members toured the fully automated battery material production line that commenced full operation in June 2026, observing how smart identification technology is integrated to achieve full-chain processing of power batteries from collection to material recycling. Through on-site presentations and an interactive mingling session, participants gained firsthand understanding of how advanced machinery and processes convert retired lithium-ion batteries into 'battery black powder,' while actively exploring business opportunities and applications in energy utilisation research, regional green transition, and the circular economy.
