FHKI Garments, Textiles and related Industry Groups held a seminar and luncheon on May 21, 2025. Represenative of Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC) was invited to share the New Markets and Steps up Support for Enterprises in Coping with US Tariffs, with nearly 30 participants attended.
Before the seminar cum luncheon began, the Executive Deputy Chairman of FHKI and Chairman of Group 12 (Knit garments and other knit made-up goods), Hon Sunny Tan delivered a welcome speech, expressing his hopes that members would find the seminar inspiring.
For 65 years, the FHKI has actively promoted industrial development in Hong Kong. This seminar provided an overview of the shifts reshaping global trade dynamics and explore strategies to effectively leverage export credit insurance as a critical tool for mitigating risks and securing growth in an increasingly volatile market environment. Members also took the opportunity to exchange opinion and enage with the guest speaker enthusiastically.
