FHKI Group 7 (Hong Kong Metal and Machinery Council) successfully organised a mission to Jiangmen on 11-12, April 2024. Led by Ms Clara Chan, Deputy Executive Chairman of FHKI and Chairman of HKMMC, the delegation consisting of 20 members visited four machinery and metal, as well as food industry-related factories in Jiangmen, including Lee Kum Kee, Infinitus (China), Guangdong Victor Aluminum, and Harford. These visits provided the members with a deeper understanding of the latest developments and technological applications in local enterprises.

The delegation met with the Jiangmen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and was received by Mr Feng Yining, the director of the Bureau. The meeting resulted in a fruitful exchange about further promoting cooperation between Jiangmen and Hong Kong and exploring new collaborative opportunities. Additionally, the delegation attended a networking dinner with the Jiangmen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and the FHKI Pearl River Delta Council. Over 50 members and guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere while exchanging industry insights and business strategies.
