On July 5, 2023, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) held a seminar on the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme). The event was honoured to invite representatives from the Hong Kong Customs, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), as well as several group representatives and members to conduct online and offline meetings and exchanges, deepening the members' understanding of the FTA Scheme and helping them explore more overseas markets.

The FTA Scheme is a voluntary initiative designed to to enrich the facilitation services provided under the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) and facilitate more transhipment cargoes in Hong Kong to enjoy preferential tariff of concerned importing countries / region through the provision of Customs supervision services and issuance of Certificate of Non-manipulation.

The seminar successfully attracted many FHKI members, and both online and offline attendees actively engaged with the speakers, asking insightful questions. The event demonstrated FHKI's commitment to supporting its members and promoting sustainable economic development.
