“Registration Regime for Dealers of Precious Metals and Stones” will be enforced by Hong Kong Customs in the 1st half of 2023, establishing a registration system for precious metals and gemstone dealers in regulating money laundering and terrorist financing activities of traders. FHKI was invited to hold an online introduction of the new registration regime. Over 30 members joined the meeting and raised questions actively.
