FHKI Group 5 (Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council) and Innovation and Technology Development Committee (ITDC) successfully organised the visit to Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) and Data Technology Hub (DT Hub) on 14 Oct 2022. Members from 17 industry groups were engaged.

Members joined a guided tour to the AMC and DT Hub, led by Ir Dr H.L. Yiu, Head of Re-industrialisation at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). He shared how HKSTP designed the facilities and services at AMC and DT Hub. The members also visited Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group Limited to understand aerospace industry development in Hong Kong and the company's experience in setting up in AMC. 

The tour is followed by a sharing session with Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group Limited, ASTRI, DB Schenker and NiRoTech, where representatives shared their perspectives on the vision of re-industralisation, the value of AMC and DT Hub and the future of advanced manufacturing in Hong Kong. Participants showed strong interest in re-industrialisation in real-life and exchanged ideas on technology and business collaboration during the networking session.
