Young Executive Council (YEC) organised the visit to the Customs Headquarters Building on 25 July 2022. Together with the FHKI leadership, YEC members met with the representatives from Customs and Excise Department, followed with a tour to the headquarters’ facilities.

Ms Louise Ho, the Commissioner of Customs and Excise and Mr Chan Tsz-tat and Mr Ellis Lai, the Deputy Commissioners, introduced the mission and obligations of Customs to members, and expressed their wish on strengthening the ties with the industry through the meeting. Afterwards, members visited the Exhibition Gallery, video interview rooms, identification parade room and indoor firing range, etc. to understand not only the century-old history of Hong Kong Customs but also to enhance their knowledge on the contribution of Customs' work to industrial and trading businesses.
