The Government launched the “Employment Support Scheme 2022” (“ESS”) to help companies affected by the pandemic retain staff members and ease financial pressure through wage subsidies. 

FHKI was honoured to have Ms Doris Ho, Head of Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office ("PICO"), Mr Fletch Chan, Deputy Head of PICO and Mr Sam Sze, Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Financial Services as guest speakers for the “ESS 2022 Briefing Session” held on 28 April to explain the details of the Scheme and answer members' questions. Over 150 members took part online. 

The Scheme is open for application from 29 April to 12 May 2022 and the first round of subsidies is expected to be released in early May. For more details, please visit :
