In November 2019, the FHKI supported the Town Planning Board in adopting the Cyberport Phase 5 expansion project. This project will have a significant impact on the development of Hong Kong's technology companies and start-ups. Mature digital business clusters and advance equipment in Cyberport can attract and cultivate more local and overseas companies, provide young people with entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, and conduct the development of Hong Kong's economy and smart cities.
