In January 2023, FHKI put forward various recommendations to the HKSAR Government on 2023-24 Budget. The recommendations cover below areas:

3. Strengthen Hong Kong’s industrial talent pool
4. Consolidate Hong Kong unique economic strengths
5. Empower businesses in achieving carbon neutrality
6. Cross-bureau coordination and collaboration
