In January 2022, FHKI put forward various recommendations to the HKSAR Government on 2022-23 Budget with short-, medium- to long-term recommendations on Hong Kong’s industrial and commercial developments. The recommendations cover seven areas:

(2)       Fostering industrial development

(3)       Accelerating I&T advancement

(4)       Cultivating industrial talent pool

(5)       Supporting Hong Kong-invested manufacturers in the Mainland

(6)       Tapping opportunities in emerging markets

(7)       Facilitating industrial and commercial sectors to achieve carbon neutrality
