Mr Ricky Chan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Jing Mei Automotive Limited (JMA), a company he established in 1998 specialising in the manufacture of original automotive modules and components. For a career spanning more than 25 years, Mr Chan has led JMA’s expansion to create a global sales and distribution network, establishing a significance presence in Mainland China, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Europe. His leadership has positioned JMA as a preferred supplier to many of the world’s most renowned automotive manufacturers. Following its success in 2002, when the company received the “Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Productivity and Quality Grand Award”, JMA was again recognised in 2018. On this occasion, the company secured the “Hong Kong Awards for Industries: Smart Productivity Grand Award” for Mr Chan’s achievement in introducing automated production in his manufacturing plants.

Mr Chan was awarded the “Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong” in 2010 and the “Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries Award” in 2012.

 

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Mr Chan graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
