Mr Peter Shum, currently serving as the Executive Director of iREd Solutions Limited, has been a staunch advocate for the integration of information technology, encompassing artificial intelligence, IoT, and big data applications with cybersecurity concerns, across various industries. His efforts are not only aimed at bolstering design and production competitiveness but also at fortifying internal data development to align with evolving market demands.

Mr Shum's involvement in the Education Information Technology (ITEd) program since 2008 has been instrumental in shaping his focus on promoting EdTech and TechEd education within the region, particularly in the domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) and IoT applications. Additionally, he actively participates in the certification and standardization of STEM / STEAM products and the training of STEM / STEAM mentors.

With over three decades of experience in the consumer electronics industry, especially in embedded system development and applications. Mr Shum is a proponent of the "Turning eDevice to iProduct" product design concept, which underscores his expertise in leveraging technology to enhance product offerings.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Mr Shum graduated from electronics engineering discipline Hong Kong Polytechnic.  He holds the Master Degree of Engineering Management (UTS), Master Degree of Business (UoN) and Certificate in Business Research (UoN).
