Experiences & Awards
Dr Alfred Ng is the CEO and executive director of Suga International Holdings Ltd. Before joining Suga, he had worked at IBM, Nokia, and Qualcomm. Dr Ng is committed to advancing Hong Kong's electronics industry. He is a member of the Board of Directors of ASTRI. He had served as a member of the Electronics Industry Advisory Committee at HKTDC, he also participates in various advisory and review panels, supporting innovation and local talent development at various universities in Hong Kong.
Dr Ng has been recognised with the Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong 2020 and the 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur award for his contributions to the industry and the Greater Bay Area.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Dr Ng holds a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Hon) degree in Computing from Imperial College London, as well as Master of Science (SM) and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a member of The Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Young Member section. He holds the esteemed titles of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong and Adjunct Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
