Experiences & Awards
Mr Peter Shum, currently the Executive Director of iREd Solutions Limited, has been actively promoting the use of information technology, including artificial intelligence, IoT and big data applications in different industries in recent years, not only to enhance the design and production competitiveness, but also to strengthen the overall data development internally to meet the market needs.
Mr Shum has also been involved in the Education Information Technology (ITEd) programme since 2008. Currently, he is more focused on how to promote EdTech and TechEd education in the region, especially in the Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) and IoT application categories. He is also involved in the certification and standardisation of STEM products and the training of STEM mentors. With more than 30 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, Mr Shum is committed to promoting the product design concept of “Turning eDevice to iProduct”.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Mr Shum graduated from electronics engineering discipline Hong Kong Polytechnic. He holds the Master Degree of Engineering Management (UTS), Master Degree of Business (UoN) and Certificate in Business Research (UoN).
