Experiences & Awards

Mr Bernie Ting joined his family business Qualidux Industrial Company Limited in 1996 and is now the Director and General Manager of the company. Qualidux is based in Hong Kong with manufacturing operations in Dongguan, specialising in manufacturing plastic products ranging from toys, juvenile products to household products, with a strong commitment to achieving social compliance with the ICTI Code of Business Practices in a proactive manner. Under Mr Ting's leadership, Qualidux has been actively expanding its product lines and developing domestic and overseas markets, laying strong foundation for the sustainable growth of his family business.

Besides the achievement in plastics and toy manufacturing industries, Mr Ting is an advocate for quality products and services. Mr Ting served at the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council under the auspices of FHKI for 16 years, including ten years of chairmanship, where he actively contributed to supporting enterprises to obtain certification for quality products and services and win the trust of consumers. Under his leadership, the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council launched the Hong Kong Q-Mark Service (Cyan) Scheme, allowing a wider range of local merchants to obtain certification for their quality services and boost customers' confidence in their businesses. During the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, Mr Ting led the Hong Kong Q-Mark Product Scheme to launch the certification services for locally-manufactured single-use surgical masks in a very short time frame, demonstrating his commitment in promoting quality products and services for Hong Kong citizens.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

Mr Ting studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada and obtained his MBA at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA.
