Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Vocational Training Council and Sinopharm Tech Holdings Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 1 Sep 2020 to launch the Smart Manufacturing Training Programme for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Industry. The Programme aims to provide practitioners of PPE Manufacturing Industry with comprehensive theoretical and practical training, including the professional know-how of face mask production and mechanical assembly. FHKI believes that the development of local reindustrialisation depends on the participation of young generation, and cooperates with the education sector to cultivate talents needed by the industry and to enable young people to understand the bright development prospects of manufacturing industry.
