Representatives from Trade and Industry Department (TID), Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC) and Bank of China (Hong Kong) were invited to brief members on the latest measures and the details of various funding schemes for SMEs. One to one consultation was also provided to members after the seminar. Over 100 members attended and responded enthusiastically.
The representative of TID said that the Government had integrated services of the existing four SME Service Centres in order to provide one-stop consultation and referral services to SMEs. He also introduced details of the 10 major funding schemes such as BUD Fund, Technology Voucher Programme, SME Financing Guarantee Scheme and SME Loan Guarantee Scheme, and application requirements of each scheme. Moreover, to support SMEs in reducing their operational risks, special enhanced measure of export credit insurance were shared as well.
