Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK), under the auspices of Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) successfully held the Hong Kong D-Mark Presentation Ceremony 2022 on 1 March, 2023.  We are honoured to have Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development as the Guest-of-Honour (GOH) of the ceremony.

 

Mr Steve Chuang, Executive Deputy Chairman of FHKI, Mr Ken Fung, Chairman of DCHK and Council members of DCHK were attended the ceremony.  Dr Bernard Chan presented certificates to D-Mark holders from various industries such as houseware, jewelry, watches, printing, furniture, interior design, to recognize their outstanding contributions in promoting Hong Kong quality design.

 

The ceremony also featured a sharing session (D-Talk) hosted by Mr Charles Ng, Deputy Chairman of DCHK, 3 award winners of Hong Kong Awards for Industries (Consumer Product Design Category) were invited to be guest speakers.  Mr Kenny Cheung, General Manager of Solos Technology Ltd, Mr Samuel Lui, General Manager of RHT Industries Ltd and Mr Alvin Cheung, CEO of Zunosaki Ltd shared their experiences on how to integrate design into manufacturing of products and meet the market need.

Besides, there were mini expo showcasing some latest designer products, guests were keen on exchanged their views on how design thinking adds value to the business and organisation growth.
