FHKI Group 8 (Food, beverages and tobacco): Mission to Tokyo was successfully held on 12 -14 February 2025.

The delegation was led by Mr Anthony Lam, Executive Deputy Chairman of FHKI and Chairman of Group 8 (Food, beverages and tobacco). They met and discussed the food markets in Japan with representatives from Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and Japan Rice and Rice Industry Export Promotion Association.

The delegation also visited the Supermarket Trade Show, where they met with representatives from the organiser to learn about the recent industry conditions and trends in Japan. They toured the exhibition, were connecting with various association representatives and numerous exhibitors, thereby expanding their network and discovering new business opportunities!
