The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) was established in 1960 under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Ordinance (Cap. 321) to promote and foster the interests of Hong Kong's industrial and business communities.
As one of the four major chambers of commerce in Hong Kong, FHKI brings together like-minded entrepreneurs to spearhead the advancement of Hong Kong's industry. Through policy advocacy, professional business support services and cross-sector collaborations, FHKI strives to build a dynamic industrial ecosystem to take forward transformation and re-industrialisation of Hong Kong's economy, sparking new business opportunities and charting diverse paths for the younger generation.
KEY RESPONSIBILIES
- Organize and support all International Affairs Committee and Belt and Road Committee events to strengthen the global ties through close liaison and collaboration with foreign officials, business communities and consulate-generals in Hong Kong;
- Provide marketing and operational supports to FHKI’s annual flagship events, such as Young Industrialist Awards Presentation (YIAH) and Industrial Of the Year award (IOY);
- Provide all-round secretarial support to the team, including meeting minutes, presentation materials, invitation letters and research reports;
- To assist in processing applications of the YIAH and IOY including vetting application, supplementary information clarifications from the applicants, drafting of application summaries and arranging interview etc;
- Support and implement different new corporate initiatives, such as large-scale publicity campaigns and collaboration programmes;
- Organise marketing events and programmes to promote FHKI;
- Organise marketing campaigns through eDM and various social media channels;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and senior management as appropriate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate in Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs and Event Management or business-related disciplines;
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in corporate communications, marketing, event management or related disciplines;
- Proficiency and efficiency in MS Office are a must;
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Experiences related to social media, digital marketing or relevant fields with graphic design knowledge will be an advantage;
- Enthusiastic in event management with strong common sense;
- Attention to details, proactive, strong in organization, inter-personal skills and time management;
- Fast learner and adapt to a fast pace working environment; multitasking abilities and capability to meet tight deadline.
