  • Certificate of Origin

    Federation of Hong Kong Industries is designated by the Hong Kong SAR Government to issue different kinds of Certificate of Origin. The certificates we issue are protected by Chapter 324 of the laws of Hong Kong and recognized by customs houses, consulates and banks worldwide. Enquiry Hotline : 2396 3318

    1. Certificate of Hong Kong Origin (CHKO)
        Certificate of Hong Kong Origin (CEPA) (CO-CEPA)
        Certificate of Origin – Processing (CP)

    2. Certificate of Origin – Re-export (CR)

    3. Certificate of Origin – Without Transit / With Transhipment (CT)

    4. General Preference Certificate (Form A)

    1. Certificate of Hong Kong Origin (CHKO)
        Certificate of Hong Kong Origin (CEPA) (CO-CEPA)
        Certificate of Origin – Processing (CP)

    • The manufacturer must be currently registered with the Trade and Industry Department
    • Application must be submitted at least two clear working days before the departure date of the vessel concerned.
    • Federation has the right to inspect the goods under application and to check the books and records of the manufacturer.
    • Besides EDI, trader may submit application in paper mode

    2. Certificate of Origin – Re-export (CR)

    • Application must be supported by the following documents
    • (a) Certificate of origin issued in the originating country of the consignment, or
      (b) Commercial invoice issued by the supplier of the originating country and transport document evidencing route of importing (bill of lading, airway bill, cargo import manifest etc.)
      (c) Such other documents as Federation may deem appropriate
      (d) Photocopy of the above (a) to (c) for Federation’s record
    • Application must be submitted at least two clear working days before the departure date of the vessel concerned.
    • Federation has the right to inspect the goods under application and to check the books and records of the exporter and supplier.
    • Besides the conventional mode in paper, trader may use Federation’s web-based CRNet system to submit application

    3. Certificate of Origin – Without Transit / With Transhipment (CT)

    • Application must be supported by the following documents
    • (a) Certificate of origin issued in the originating country of the consignment, or
      (b) Commercial invoice issued by the supplier of the originating country and bill of lading / airway bill issued in the originating country
      (c) Such other documents as Federation may deem appropriate
      (d) Photocopy of the above (a) to (c) for Federation’s record
    • Besides conventional mode in paper, trader may use Federation’s web-based CRNet system to submit application

    4. General Preference Certificate (Form A)
