FHKI 60th anniversary celebration programme - "Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry"
In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, the exhibition " Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry" is reopened until 5 Oct 2020. Special opening hours will be from 10am – 5pm.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of FHKI. As part of the celebration programmes, the exhibition “Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry”, is now open to the public. Jointly organised by FHKI and the Hong Kong Museum of History, the exhibition displays time-honoured exhibits from over 300 corporations. Of the corporations, 40 are FHKI members, including Lee Kum Kee, Garden Co., Kinox, Kader Industrial, German Pool and Taikoo Sugar.
The curation showcases some 1,200 sets of classic “Made in Hong Kong” products. In addition to documenting the history of Hong Kong industry over the past century, the exhibition shows how industrialists strived for success, pays tribute to the working class for its contribution to Hong Kong's industrial development, and explores the future direction for Hong Kong industries.
