FHKI 60th anniversary celebration programme - "Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry"
This year marks the 60th anniversary of FHKI. As part of the celebration programmes, the exhibition “Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry”, is now open to the public. Jointly organised by FHKI and the Hong Kong Museum of History, the 10-week exhibition displays time-honoured exhibits from over 300 corporations. Of the corporations, 40 are FHKI members, including Lee Kum Kee, Garden Co., Kinox, Kader Industrial, German Pool and Taikoo Sugar.
The curation showcases some 1,200 sets of classic “Made in Hong Kong” products. In addition to documenting the history of Hong Kong industry over the past century, the exhibition shows how industrialists strived for success, pays tribute to the working class for its contribution to Hong Kong's industrial development, and explores the future direction for Hong Kong industries.
FHKI members are cordially invited to visit the exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History from 17 June to 24 August 2020.
