    Organised by Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) Group 25 (Hong Kong Information Technology Industry Council) (HKITIC), the “AI & Big Data Workshop” was successfully held on 22 June. This workshop highlighted the AI deep learning and its applications. Dr Sunny Chai, Deputy Chairman of FHKI and Chairman of HKITIC shared AI application and future trend of information technology in Hong Kong business, and encouraged local industry players carry out research and development in AI and Big Data applications which can enhance efficiency in business management. 
     
    Guest speaker, Samson Tai, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer of IBM China/Hong Kong introduced deep learning and neural networks and their training processes, such as image, speech and character recognition. He also discussed deep learning networks, AI future development and demonstrated using open-source software to undergoing data analysis. 
     
    Over 60 participants attended the workshop and overwhelming responses were received.
