    On 25 September, Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), the International Affairs Committee (IAC, under the auspices of FHKI) and the Consulate-General of Republic of South Africa, HKSAR/ MSAR jointly organised a cocktail reception to introduce the investment environment in South Africa. Over 80 guests enjoyed a productive evening of networking and explored new business opportunities.

    Jimmy Kwok, FHKI Chairman, Sunny Tan, FHKI Deputy Chairman and IAC Chairman, Madoda Ntshinga, Consul-General of Consulate-General of the Republic of South Africa, HKSAR/ MSAR encouraged the participants to explore more business opportunities in South Africa. Dr Measure Hung, Chairman of MOBICON Group also shared his experiences in doing business in South Africa. 

    South African enterprises were invited to showcase their products and services, including:

    4. Telford International Company Limited
    5. South China Sea Farm Limited
    6. Sun City Enterprise Limited
    7. South African Airways

    This joint cocktail reception provided a platform for participants to enjoy closer interaction with the South African enterprises, as well as enhanced business and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and South Africa. FHKI and IAC will continue to strengthen the communications between Hong Kong industries and countries abroad.
