Trademark Registration
What is a trademark? Trademark can be a word, brand, label, logo, device, signature, letter, numeral or any combination of these elements.
Is trademark registration necessary? Trademark is an intangible asset of the company. If your trademark is infringed when it becomes popular, it not only hurts the sales of the product, but the image of the company as well. It is always too late and expensive to launch legal action by the time. Therefore, the Federation's Intellectual Property Centre helps clients apply for trademark registration, which enables trademark owners to obtain relevant legal protection and take legal action if they discover infringement. In addition to Hong Kong, the Federation also handles trademark applications in countries such as China, Europe and U.S.A., etc.
Procedures: Bring in a copy of your mark. Specify which countries and the list of goods you want to register your trademark. Please also bring your company chop.
Time: In a straight forward case, the application will normally take one year.
