Free advice on dealing with intellectual property infringement and an IP lawyer-referral service are offered.
Design Depository Service The FHKI acts as an independent medium to preserve evidence of original design. It also helps provide evidence in establishing copyright ownership when disputes arise. Most 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional new designs are protected, e.g. product line drawing, computer programme, product photo and pattern, fashion design, literature, song, lyrics, drama script, integrated circuit board, etc.
The HK Q-Mark Scheme There are two Hong Kong Q-Mark Schemes available to companies: the Hong Kong Q-Mark Product Scheme and the Hong Kong Q-Mark Service Scheme. The Q-Mark Product Scheme certifies products; the Q-Mark Service Scheme certifies service companies. Both schemes give recognition to companies that are able to deliver the highest quality products or services.
